Test for Tuberculosis
If you want your Thai girlfriend to stay with you in the UK for more than six months, she should be tested free from infectious Tuberculosis (TB) before she starts her visa application.
The TB test is in the form of a Chest X-ray and should be done only at the accredited clinics. If the result shows that she does not have the Tuberculosis, she will be given a certificate from the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Office which she should submit together with the visa application form. A TB positive result will deny her of visa application until she recovers.
It is advisable for her to keep the chest x-ray and the certificate (has 6 months validity) with her at all times during her entire stay in the UK.
