I saw this article by Carolyn Hidalgo – she’s a relationship coach.
And looks like she’s a good one. Because I thought her 7 points about the difference between love and lust really hit the mark.
For me, the best was Number 5. Love comes from your “authentic self”.
You know, we all have an authentic self. It doesn’t lie or mislead. But we don’t always bother to listen to it.
You can check in with your authentic self. You can ask it whatever you want.
It’s those times when it’s quiet, when it’s dark, when you’re still and there’s no one to conform to.
It speaks in a quiet voice …but it speaks the truth.
Am I really in love or am I playing some game? If you really want to know, the answer will be there.
